For example, today I was driving back from lunch and thinking that if the originators were the ten plagues of Egypt, a certain one...we'll just call her the LOUD one, Sarah's favorite...would be the one where the grasshoppers get into everyones houses and eat out their eyes. And that is horrible, so when I got in the elevator to ride up back into the office, who was in there.....but the locust herself! I know: kharma.
*Edit: Now that I know about murrain (see below), I might be reconsidering my categorization above.
And when I decided to blow my spending budget for the month to treat myself to a little....well, something nerdy, you dont need to know about it and anyway if you really know me you know what it is, ANYWAY, i decided to get my nerdy treat, and I called around EVERYWHERE today to see if it was in stock and I come to find out the release date got pushed out to tomorrow. Also, I even drove to a K-Mart to see if they had it, and the K-Mart totally smelled like B.O. There's a chance that the stank doesn't have any kharmic origins, but I think it adds to the effect.
Also...and pardon if your and my beliefs don't align here...I've seen my grandmother twice since I started my silence, and I the last time I saw her was about a year after she died about 5 years ago. Anyway, they are really pleasant, really brief visits, and each time I have gotten a strong sense of wellbeing, like she's backing me on this. Anyway, I take it to be another sign.
The long of the short is that I'm inclined to believe that I'm on the right track, so could someone get me to stop talking so much! I feel like I've been downright chatty. Wow, the day I nod and smile too much and feel like that's too chatty?!? I have changed.
BY THE WAY [cuz you miss the fun facts]...
the ten plagues of egypt:
- blood
- frogs
- gnats
- dog flies
- murrain [see nifty jpeg below]
- boils
- hail
- Marc....er, locusts
- darkness
- first-born son
Ohhh murrain! Cow death! Sure, sure. See, I thought you said "more rain" and I...I was just confused, that's all...
