YAY! I'M GOING TO COUNTY KERRY!
I'm sittin here, eating my bowl of Cheerios (or Honey Loops or whatever they're called here. You know Frosted Flakes are called Frosties here? For shame!), and I'm getting really revved up about the trip. Here's what's going on, in case you were curious:

The purple line is the 6 hr bus ride I'm about to take for the rest of the day from Dublin to Killarney.
The pink line is the Ring of Kerry, which takes you past cliffs over the Atlantic, fields, mountains, lakes and some other shtuff. It's really, REALLY pretty (a few readers can attest to this, can't you?) The Ring takes 5 hrs to drive, and it's 100% switchback roads with no shoulders, so you drive about 35mph, even though the speed limit is 100km/h (which is like 65mph. Jesus Lord our God that is fast for those roads)
Ah! It'll be fun. I can't wait. Have a great weekend, whatever you're doing. All the folks at Entertainment Pubs are having their huge-o Halloween party today. My old dept has the theme of Studio 54--have fun! Be good! Don't do ANYTHING they would have done! :)
My sister is working on Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village this weekend. Take a trip down if you get the chance--it's spooky and tons of fun!
Have a great Halloween weekend! I'll definately miss all the festivities--no one does anything for Halloween over here, save the Polish people who head home and clean up their cemetaries...hardly as much fun as bobbing for apples or carving a pumpkin. I miss all the seasonal fervor, and I hope you enjoy the cheesiness of the holiday this year! Think of me when you set out the battery-operated wailing jittering ghost on your front porch, or pop in the spooky sounds tape for the trick-or-treaters, or eat all the mini Snickers out of the trick or treat bowl. Aw, I miss Halloween!

Have a great holiday weekend!

(remember these? Allie I know you do--convincing Mom and Dad to get the fancy leaf bags, which was like pulling teeth, even though they were only like a dollar more and made us so happy! LOL)
not holiday night thats in december, its halloween and its the last weekend for it too. yes i remember the bags, we use to want to get the huge one. halloween decorations in general were hard to get because mom always had a stick up her ass about any decorations, dad on the other hand always had a sweet tooth for some halloween fun!
