Last night I went to a Quiz Night at St. James Gate Brewery, otherwise known as:
The Guinness Brewery!

The quiz night was sponsored by a local charity, and 35 teams answered trivia questions for a chance to win some cool prizes. It galvanized my love of fun facts and my reputation here as a fun-fact-aholic. We were on fire! Didn't come in first, but had a great time.
Oh, and the Guinness was free all night.
My head is in a state this morning! But no regrets--that was so much fun! I've been in the Storehouse before, but it's always quite an experience. In Ireland, Guinness really is something of an icon, and being at its mecca is like visiting the heart of Irish culture. If you do come to Ireland, you really must visit it---even if the ticket is €15. But hey, it comes with a free pint at the end of the tour!
So my weekend is going to be spent recovering from last night's festivities and starting work on my "Roaring 20s" flapper dress for the company Christmas party in mid December. Depending on what the fabric store and costume shop carry, it'll look like one of these:

Ooh, flapper is so cute! But part of me really wishes I got to be a gangster....I want to carry around a tommy gun....but I can be content as a flapper. Nay, I can be fabulous as a flapper!
