Herr, Gym, other stuff.

HERR CUT!

3.5 hrs and €200 later, the hair is cut! I had it done at a very chichi salon, which meant I had a different colourist, hairwasher, stylist and blowdryer. Intense!

Don't........look, the pictures are making me look wack. But the cut and color are awesome and I love it and in person its like a billion times better. But, sigh, you're over there, and I'm over here, and the picture will have to suffice.

So here's the before...it's from Halloween, I don't just run around with a mask on my head, lol.

And the after!

LOL, two upset pictures, one because I was bored, the other because my nice herr cut looks wiggidy wack. Just know that if you have a camera out around me, I am not above making a pouty pete face if I'm not pleased.

Can you see the highlights in the pic? Can you tell at all that this is a nice cut? Okay, in fairness, today is my first day styling it on my lonesome, and I am super awkward when it comes to doing hair; it's like I'm using my feet. It's outlandishly clumsy. Anyway, we all know the strife of first-day-doing-it-myself hair day. So you get to share my experience.

Anyway, how was your weekend? Did you go to Chicago? Do you have today off from school? Did you sew a civil war dress (I'm fairly certain that one only applies to one person...on the planet). I went to the gym and had my fitness assessment. My trainer and I decided on a workout routine, and whenever I'm in the gym he ticks off that I've been there, and in 4 weeks we meet again and reassess. In fact, every 4 weeks you meet and restructure your workout, so it actually is like you have a personal trainer. It's really nice.

Also at the gym, I found out my weight in kilos, lbs and stone. Want a pick-me-up? Get your weight in stone. It's an outrageoulsy small number, one that's sure to make your day.

And that's it! Gym tonight (bleh), lunch from Dunnes (yay), looong 6 1/2 hours left to go before I'mma outta here!

Good Monday!

  1. Your head looks great but who is this "Herr Cut[t] you keep referring to? Is this the dude who cut your lovely locks off?

Seriously, it looks very cute hon. It's definitely the neater and trimmer you, that's for certain. "Sheek"[sic] is not a strong enough word to describe it. No, not at all.
