Big Friday

Congrats to Evan for FOUR POINTING this semester! It was a really challenging year with some pretty intense classes but he did an amazing job and I'm so, so proud of him! Now to convince him to transfer to a better, maize-and-bluer school....;)

I want to tell you how I'm feeling this morning. Now, they say a picture says a thousand words. What are these telling you?

There you go. My trip out for a coffee with a friend turned into a pub crawl. On a Thursday. Which turned my Friday morning into something of a crawl, too. The good news is I can tick 5 of Dublin's great pubs off my list of great pubs to visit. The bad news is I won't be entering another pub--great or otherwise--ever again. :P

They say the Irish national motto is "I'll never drink again..." LOL!


Anyway, I'm heading up to lovely Armagh (pronounced arm-ah) for the weekend. It's in da north, which means, technically, that yes I'm travelling to another country this weekend! I've gotta go pick up some uber-expensive £ at lunch, then run home after work, pack my bag, and we're taking a train up tonight. A TRAIN! How European is that?! I haven't ever travelled a long distance on a train before. I am actually really, REALLY excited. I'm pretty much imagining the Hogwart's express, to be perfectly honest. What, isn't that what trains are like in the UK?
