It's been a really, really nice week having Evan in town. We've gotten up to all kinds of stuff here in Dublin--lots of museums, day trips, walks, restaurants and cafes, parks and more. It's been fun showing him where I live. What a great end of summer treat. :)
Yesterday we went out to Powerscourt, where he was able to witness what the Irish call a "sun shower", a phenomenon that occurs when the sky is rainy and sunny at the same time. The Irish enjoy a good sun shower. In fact, sometimes you can heard this said:
"It's raining."
"No, no, it's merely a sun shower."
So...........that's not rain, apparently.
I've got lots lined up on the docket this autumn. Stay tuned for:
I know we still have 3 weeks left of summer, but I'm already saying it: I can't wait for autumn to start!
