Hey look at the front of the Dublin free morning paper today! Barack to the Future. Love it!
But don't take this as a piece of serious journalism from a reputable newsource. If you looked closely, you'd have seen that this also made the front page:
Sooo....it ain't exactly the WSJ.
Good Halloween weekend? God I'm in such a state waiting for this election! It's all anyone's talking about, even over here. Just think, tomorrow you'll wake up and vote for the next president, the man to replace our current heavy hitter, boasting a 25% approval rating, aka the lowest of any prez ever.
And oh nooo did you hear about Palin's phone conversation with "French PM Nicholas Sarcozy", aka a pranking Canadian disc jockey? In the interview she doesn't know the PM of Canada--who was JUST elected (Stephen Harper, btw, shame on you for not knowing if ya didn't). And shame on Palin for not knowing--this from a woman who considers being able to see Russia as adequate foriegn policy. Ahem, you are contiguous with Canada, in fact, you're more Canadian than American, really (what other US State has whale blubber as an export?). This is sad!
Also she alluded to wanting to run in 4 years. Roooogue! LOL, I have to laugh tho at people hating on her for wanting to run in 4 years. So what? Every politician has a personal agenda. Come on now, let a girl have her dreams. Don't be mean.
Well it's a quiet week around Dublin this week. I'm going to see the Coen bros "Burn After Reading" tonight, fingers crossed it's a good one. Then tomorrow it's the election vigil--we have to stay up until the wee hours over here to find out how the west coast polls close. First election overseas. Will be fun, but sad that I'm not at home with "my fellow Amurricans".
That's it, have a great Monday!
