New to You

New and new-to-me things:

1. Christmas trees have officially gone up in Dublin, including the scary "French-designed" bubble tree on O'Connell Street (which, of course, I can't find a picture of). It looks like Christmas is finally here (with only 2 months to go until the actual holiday...geez)!

2. Remember the Milk is a FANTASTIC site for creating and accessing lists. It's incredibly easy to use--you can email new list items, text them, interface with the site. Accessing is easy too, especially if you have a smartphone, in which case you can access your list anywhere. Otherwise printing lists is a breeze. Either way, definitely check out this site!

3. QuitNet: The quit smoking forum. It's really, really effective. :)

4. Vienna Boys Choir is performing in the National Concert Hall of Ireland tomorrow night and I've got tickets to hear these little sprouts ring in the holiday season! I'm going for a nice dinner at Fallon & Byrne with my friend Tessa, then heading down to the concert. It should be very spiritual and enlightening, and who knows, if one lil boy is adorable and rosy-cheeked enough, I might just take him home to be my errand boy....or wait, has no one had those since Dickensian times?

5. Fraaaankfurt! I'm going to visit Sarah Giraud in a few weeks in Frankfurt, Germany! I can't wait to see what Germany is like, because I've never been, and seeing as how I don't speak the language, I am extremely greatful my quatri-lingual friend will be there. :)

And that's what's up in my neck of the woods! Have a great Tuesday!
