Happy Paddy's Day...From Hungary!

I'M GOING TO BUDAPEST!

I'm so excited, a whole weekend of thermal baths, mineral pools, mud treatments, massages and more. Buda and Pest (2 Hungarian cities on either side of the Danube--fun fact) were formed because of the thermal wells and mineral springs that naturally occured at the site, which are considered to posess medicinal qualities. The city that is basically a spa-metropolis. 

My friend Tessa and I are going to the bazzars, the national opera house and the museums and galleries of course too. And we're staying in the five-star Astoria Hotel (woo!), right on the shores of the Danube. THE DANUBE!

I'm planning on having a wonderful weekend out of the drunken melee that is Paddy's Day in Dublin. But for all of you who are enjoying the one day when EVERYONE is Irish (woo!),  tip a Guinness and think of your friend in the Isle of Eire!
