so while i'm still practicing solitude for the rest of lent, the silence is over. that means this blog needs a big fat makeover, which will be fun and will be done during work hours, when all the non-work stuff gets done, like printing crochet patterns and justifying credit card charges...
SO! i've been pretty camped out on the internet lately. here's what i've been addicted to:
yumsugar.com
gossip. shopping. other frivolous girly ish. it's good.
cuteoverload.com
it's got stuff like this on it:

oh my god! two pink casts!
jenstark.com
really, really cool paper designs. ive been saving them as dtp bgs lately, which makes a day of print coordinating colorful and fun! almost!
the infared satellite
bless you, weather channel. true, frenquenting this site seals my old-manishness, but strike the final nail in that coffin, dammit, im ready!
oriental trading company
where tsotsch meets its maker.
dailylit.com
im half way through robinson crusoe, which i will forever remember as the book i read as one big email. at times, this causes me to commit the book to memory the same way i would a story a friend wrote me. thus, i remember it this way:
"kate, that was the week julie got engaged"
"oh wow. i didnt realize that was the same week crusoe got dyssentary"
".....nor did i."
boygirlparty.com
because if i could draw, i swear itd look just like this.
lastly, since beth directed me to natalie dee's husband's site today, its inspired me to catch up on the last few weeks ive missed of nataliedee.com (incidentally, her husband's site is toothpastefordinner), but the real gems are at their shared site, marriedtothesea
from married to the sea
