Movin' on Up

If you didn't know, now you know:

I'M MOVING TO DUBLIN, IRELAND!

I was offered a fabulous job working with my old boss, Dan O'Callaghan (yes, I'm serious. That's his name) with Threefold, Ltd. It's a telecoms company that will be setting up and maintaining a new mobile network across the country, and I'll be their Manager of Bids and Communications.

I leave the week of May 7th, so get your Kate in while you can! I'm so excited to sit down to a nice Guinness in Temple Bar again, or get a fresh boxty and walk down to the River Liffey for a Saturday brunch in the sun. I cannot possibly express how exciting this is!

I am just beginning to realize how sad it will be to leave all my friends and family. I'll miss karaoke at Hartfield Lanes, A&W drive-up burgers, midday chat breaks with Publishing, Olga's snackers, NPR Michigan Radio, runs at Kensington, cooking fancy-pants dinners with Ev, and, of course, the vent-the-day martini nights with my girls Kaitlyn and Julie. It has been a great year, and I'll miss everyone who has made this year ridiculously fun and exciting. But my fingers are double crossed that everyone will be able to make it overseas to travel with me and visit. :)

I'll be keeping the blog open to capture my day-to-day Irishness, so stay tuned for the Irish experience...
