Rain, Rain Go Away!

I'm in the top apt in the building on the far left. Erin the Heron usually hangs out in the ponds you see there. My digital camera broke, so this is the best I can do! Hopefully Fiona will let me debo her camera for a day or so and I'll be able to take pics of all the sites so I can share them on silent45!

Anyway. Do you know Rob and Big Black? It’s a new show (I think it must be on MTV at home) that details the lives of best friends Rob and Black. Rob is a skater, Big Black is……a giant man.

You’re not going to believe this until you watch it for yourself, but this is the FUNNIEST SHOW ON TV. It regularly has me laughing out loud by myself in my flat. It is obviously full of odd-couple humour, but it really avoids the easy jokes and attempts something a little more genuine. It is fantastic, and I highly recommend absolutely everybody checking it out. It would seriously appeal to just about anyone.

As you can probably guess, last night I watched a little TV. It’s been raining since last Friday and I have to be honest, I’m getting cabin fever. It’s driving me to do crazy things: for example, last night I cried at the new Avril Lavigne video “Miss You”. In my defence, the video follows the story of an old widower who is trying to cope with his wife’s death, and he smells her grandma-ish dresses in the closet, and he puts his suit on and takes champagne and two glasses to her grave and toasts to her and mouths, “I miss you”. Oh!
