Holla!

WHAT?! I'M GOIN TO LONDON!

I am so excited! Today's the day--I cannot wait to get this started! I have big plans: a Haunted London ghost walk, buying Harry Potter at famous Waterstone's bookstore, changing of the guards at 10am, and I've even dedicated half a day to the Natural History Muesum. No one loves a good Natural History Museum quite like me, and this one is supposed to be the best in the world.

YAY! I'm going to get a discount theatre ticket if I can (if it's reeeeal discounted), and I'm going to have a pint in an English pub, just to see if there's really a difference.

I cannot wait--make sure you tune in Monday to see how everything went!

NOW, I have to tell you something: I'm starting the UM Alumni Association of Ireland. There is no branch here and the application process to become the charter representitive is really simple, so I've done it. In the coming weeks you'll see my name up under "Ireland" on the International Alumni page. GO BLUE!

Also, I've been talking with the MSU Alumni rep in Dublin. She's been living here for 4 years and we may be planning UM/MSU events together. Wouldn't that be fun? And American? And Michiganian? I know, I know, I've travelled halfway around the world to hang out with a bunch of Michiganders, but what can I say: Great Lakes, Great Times. lol

I hope you guys all have an awesome Harry Potter weekend. I know some folks have it preordered, while others of us are winging it. Let me just say this: If anyone spoils the ending for me, I will end them. I will end them. I know some radio DJ or some newspaper or some loudmouthed coworker is gonna blow this, and that is just so sloppy! There's been so much anticpation--it's like telling a kid that Santa is fake before they're old enough to figure it out themselves. It ain't right.

And lastly, I had to laugh at this one:
Yesterday my uncle IMs me and says, "How's Scotland?"

LOL. Have a great weekend!

***I have to tell you this: It is actually raining on one side of my office right now and not the other. The sun is out on the other side, acutally. I have never before seen anything like this. Fortunately, the sandwich shop is on the dry side, so I'm heading out for lunch. :)
