Ick: Cold. Yay: London.

I think I just won an 80GB iPod.

Coke and iTunes have been running a promotion in Ireland where you enter a code from your coke can online and you can win free iTunes credits or an 80gig iPod. There is a song given away every minute and an iPod given away every hour.

Well, I drink a lot of Coke (I could act like I don't but....why lie?). I've been entering about 4 times a week or so, and today I got an email telling me I'd won and asking for an address to send the iPod to.

YAY! Tomkie's never win ANYTHING! Ask us--ask any of us! In fact, a few weeks ago when I won "Most Embarassing Moment" at the company picnic and won a free phone, my sister wrote to say:

"congrats on the win, HELL a TOMKIE actually WON something!"

You hear that? PRIDE! Anyway, so the fact that I may have won this iPod will go down in the annals of Tomkie history!

How thrilling.

Now, for a little entertainment (wink wink). Beth has sent me the latest flavour of one of our favorite EPI distractions: Online character generators. To give you some persepctive, so far we've been through:

Become Your Own M&M Character

Become Your Own Superhero

Become Your Own Wii Character

Make Your Own Meez

And here's the latest:
Make Your Own Simpson's Character

You upload a pic of yourself, click a few buttons and before you know it, you're on your way to becoming....well, in my case at least....a Simpson's version of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

How did I end up looking like that? LOL

But it's great, you should check it out.

SO tomorrow I head out for:

RUUUULE BRI-TAN-IA...BRITANIA RULE THE WAVES!

I'm gonna ride in one of those adorble black taxis, and eat some fish and chips, and visit Madame Toussauds Wax Muesum and do some other really British stuff!! It's funny, all the Brit's in my office are raving about how much more awesome London will be than Paris. One guy even told me, "Paris is just dirt with dirty people and some dirty streets and that horrible language. London....is in ENGLISH!"

Great point, bud.

But I am so excited and I can hardly wait. Now if this cold would just shove off for 3 or 4 days while I putz around London! But I have the feeling I won't be so lucky. Ah well, I hear London is beautiful on DayQuil.
