MAN, it is getting cold!
Maybe it's not as cold as I think it is. Maybe it feels colder because I'm seeing temperature everywhere in Celcius, where a balmy 41F becomes a mere 6. So yeah, when you wake up in the morning and the thermostat reads 6, you get to feeling cold.
But hey! How are you? How's things? Are you ready for the Threefold company party tomorrow night? I know I am. It's a quiz night....which, because we're in Ireland, is being hosted at a pub. Now, I aim to do my utmost to uphold my reputation as K "Fun-Facts" T, but I'm banking on a LOT of euro questions that I won't know the answer to. Like....the caipital of Croatia. Or Il Divo's third hit single. Or the King of Sweden between 1645-1690.
On the flipside, you know I don't forget a good funfact, so following this quiz night my head is going to be swollen with new useless trivia. I wouldn't reccommend playing Trivial Pursuit with me for at least 6-9mos after this game. lol
Other than that, just another day in Dublin. More guys not wearing deoderant on the train in the morning, more kids drinking hard cider on the curb outside my apartment late at night. Yesterday I was walking home and this huge tricked-out BMW X5 rolled up to a stoplight next to me, radio blasting........blasting an Aha techno remix. It wasn't the typical Southfield ghetto-blast I'm used to, and it made me laugh to see the guy at the steering wheel in huge sunglasses and a wife-beater tee turn his head slooooooowly to see if I was enjoying the noise. "Taaaaaaaaaake ooooooonnnnn meeeeeeeeee". LOL!
