it's 11am, and the office is a morgue. there's about 12 people here...out of 100. that's because the rest are either still in their bed, still in someone else's bed, or arm in arm with their bathroom fixtures.
i'm in ireland, and last night was a company party. its that kind of morning.
it was fun tho, in fairness. loooots of fun in fact. we ate and drank at a fancypants hotel downtown. i stayed on "the black stuff", guinness, and despite going to bed at 2:30, my body is thanking me today. guinness gives you strength, folks. they serve it in the hospitals over here (for serious). it's filling, so you drink less of it, it's easy on the head, sits well so your stomach is in decent shape the next morning, and it lets you sleep a restful sleep.

that's the altar of my church over here.
lol, jk
by the way, 2:30 was the most decent time to have gotten in. we in my house were getting text messages from people at 4:00, 4:30am and god knows when else. but when i tell people i got home at 2:30...on a wednesday...they nod their heads and say "not bad, pretty good." my CFO actually said "its nice to get home at a decent hour, isnt it?".......im living in a country of frat kids.
i wish o i wish there had been a camera present last night, because fiona and i lived through what might be the greatest 10 minutes of our lives, and i only wish you could have seen it.
it started when we managed to get the dj to play calvin harris for us (something we've been pressing various dj's for for months) and we got to dancin', only to have jeni, HR director and my least favorite person on earth, walk past, muttering "you're making a fool of yourself, kerry."
well.
not 5 minutes after our musical bliss a europop kinda song comes on, and who rushes to the dance floor but miss HR herself.
and she's got a gentleman dance partner.
did you guess who it was?
you know him already.
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the gerbil, back in action. YES! thus, my night was com-ple-ted and i can officially tell you, dreams really do come true. LOL
