Today Amazon releases Kindle, a wireless reading device. With Kindle, you can download any of 90,000 books or periodicals and read anywhere.
It's got wireless access to Amazon from anywhere in the world, so you can always buy new reading material. The screen is glare free so yo eyes don't be hurtin'. They say the battery life is good enough to read War and Peace on a single charge, too.
Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?! Only.....and I'm not trying to playa hate....

The tech industry would do well to follow Apple's lead and design streamlined, sexy devices. You can only imagine the sleek spin that Jobs' team would have had on this idea.
I've got some other issues with this device, namely that scrolling while reading is the pits, and the screen isn't all that big so scrolling will become your middle name. Also, if I drop my book in my bath, my book is ruined, but there's no risk of electrocution. Same goes for a little rain--wouldn't want that falling on your brand new read n' spell!
However, if you're really passionate about Kindle and insist on buying it....please have me over for a viewing, cuz as a bibliophile and growing tech addict, I'm curious to see it!
