'Appy T'anksgivin'!
I hope you've got great plans for today. I hope theres a lot of Turkey Day goodness in your near future.
Things I'll miss today:
-Stuffing
-Feeding the dogs a little turkey treat under the table
-Wearing a cooking apron over my nice T-day outfit
-Preparing the bird....bird cooking is my specialty :)
-Being in a relationship and therefore enjoying TWO families' dinners. Sooo fulll, sooo dericious.
-Ceegar with Dad in the garage after dinner
-Counting the minutes til Evan falls asleep after dinner on the couch
-10PM LEFTOVERS, gravy on everything, nothing is spared!
Aw, I'm going to miss it today. :( However, I do have intentions of eating McDonalds at lunch, which is basically as American as I could get. Also, I will be cooking a frozen turkey breast and mashed potatoes (there's always potatoes in our house...it is Ireland, after all) for Sunday dinner. So I've got my own little mini-Tday set up. And of course, I will be participating in online Black Friday tomorrow!
So have a great dinner, have an even better post-dinner nap, and be thankful for the opportunity to come to table with the people you love most.
