Even down in the country, people walk into town, walk to neighbors for a visit, and of course, walk to and from the pub.
In the city, it's no different. And in my situation, there's as much walking as you can get, since I don't have a car or bike and I live 30 min walk from the Luas, which is the tram that takes me anywhere I need to go.
So, as an experiment, I began tracking my walks on my personal training log on mapmyrun.com. I keep a Map My Run account to log runs that I do--how much time they take, where the runs were, etc. But I decided to add any walks over 2 miles to the log too, just to see how much walking I was doing.
Well, the result is pretty hefty, I think! After almost a month of tracking my normal day-to-day walking (and one lousy half mile run), I've hoofed it over 75 miles!
Anyway (omg I was just about to say anywho. how school-marmish is that?! Set me up with a quilting bee and sensible square heels and call it a day!)..........anyWAY, that's all the time I have for today. I'm very very busy working on these company Christmas gifts.....yes, apparently there was NO ONE in Ireland who could fulfill the role of mostly-internet-surfing, occasional-word-doc-formatting, Christmas-basket-organizing guru, so they had to fly an expert in from The States. How sensical.
