I went to the pub last night with some Irish people who have been living in Australia. We took an Oscars pub quiz and during it I realized that a bunch of Oscar-nominated films haven't even made it over here yet, like Michael Clayton, 3:10 to Yuma, There Will be Blood, Lars and the Real Girl, and more. Man, I am missing out on a lot of good cinema over here!
Tonight I sign the lease on my apartment in city centre, cementing my fate for the next year. A whole nother year in Dublin. It's hard to believe. The thought makes me very homesick, but also very happy to be here.....but also very homesick. Write me something nice!
Congratulations are in order for Evan who got into MSU's prestigious Trail Law Institute. It's highly competitive and a huge honor, so well done Ev!
Other than that, French class is tonight which I'm looking forward to, followed by making some homemade sage stuffing, mowing down then going to bed at about 8:30 if I can help it. Ah Wednesday, you're so close to Friday, yet not close enough. :)
