Curry, Laprauchans, Aztec Flu

GOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!

My folks are coming over this week! BAH I'm so excited!!!

You know, I had an inkling that receiving US visitors would be akin to the Spanish conquistadors visiting Tenotitchlan--peaceful, pleasant, and involving the transfering of unimmunizable colds and flus. I had a prediction that I would end up with a really narsters Michigan cold at the end of it, and they would get a bit of the ol' Dublin drippy nose in return.

Well, hopefully this kick-ass cold I have this week will prevent all that from happening. That's all I'm going to say about that, because no one likes a blog bitch about a measely head cold.

So tonight I have commissioned my flatmate to make a big steaming panfull of Indian spicy chicken curry with basmati rice. He visited India last year and learned to cook curry from Indian chefs, so his curry is goooood. Tonight MINE will be the apartment that makes the rest of the building reek of curry. That'll be me. You'll smell it. If you live in my building. You won't like it. It will get in the way of you enjoying your Captain Crunch pre-bedtime snack. It'll stink so bad. That'll be me.

And hey, while you might not be able to enjoy Stephen's class-A curry, I brought you a little treat to keep you entertained instead.

It's the one and only Leprauchan Watch webcam, for those in need of finding miracles in the most unlikely of places. In this case, the unlikely place is Co. Tipperary, aka the cow poop county.

Yeah, if I were a tiny, rich, ageless mythical old man, I'd live in cow poop county. No doubt. So be sure and keep your eye on the Leprauchan Watch webcam!

Now, I have to go get this day done with so I can go home and finish preparing for my guests to arrive! It's so exciting, I can't even tell you! It's so much fun to have people over to see the country, see the city, and TAKE ME TO VENICE!!!! HOLLA!

Only 4 more days til our trip to the Aran Islands, and only 8 more days until our trip to Venice! Woo!

Good Monday!
