Heeeeeeere's Amsterdam!
Ah Amsterdam, home of...well, we all know what goes on in Amsterdam. But I bet these are a few things you didn't know were in Amsterdam:
1. Van Gogh Museum: best in the world
2. Anne Frank House
3. NEMO: biggest science museum in Europe
4. Rijksmuseum: largest collection of works from the Dutch Masters (Rembrandt, Rubens, Vermeer etc.)
5. Pot & Hemp Museum...oh, no, wait, we totally knew that'd be there.
I'm heading out tomorrow at noon with a few other folks for what's shaping up to be a pretty interesting weekend. Maybe this trip is going to be filled with sin. Maybe sin will be one street we pass down. Maybe I will find myself trying to inspire 3 stoned fellow travelers to go see a Vermeer portrait collection instead of a strip show.
This should be really fun, and it marks [I think] my last trip for a little while. That is, unless Sweden happens in 2 weeks. Let's not talk about that right now though. For now, AMSTERDAM TOMORROW! First time to The Netherlands, first time in Scandinavia in the Spring. Can't wait!
