One Year in Ireland!

On Saturday I celebrated one year in Ireland. It was one year ago today that I was starting my first day of work here in Dublin. I can't believe how much has happened in the one year I've been away:

Allie graduated from college
Evan started college
Warrens moved to Rhode Island
Kaitlyn moved to Madison Heights
Sarah moved to LA
Sara moved to LA
Mackles moved to San Diego
Boo moved to San Diego
Elisa started her new job
Dad started his new job
Allie started a new job
Sara started her own shop
Amber got married
Hallie got married
Laura got engaged
Beth got engaged
Ben got engaged
Bekah got engaged
Carolyn had baby Colin
Sarah had baby Zinnia
Molly had baby Brady
Rosa had baby Addison
Gas went past $3.50/gal
Gas went past $4/gal
Detroit became the nation's worst city
Kwame cheated
Obama and Hillary began their race
Housing market dropped
Food prices soared
Romania joined the EU
Turkey joined the EU
Bertie Ahern entered office
Bertie got booted from office

And in the meantime I visited

Aran Islands
Venice
Barcelona

And consequently spoke
Italian
French
Danish
Catalan
Spanish
and read plenty of Latin

And I moved

To Temple Bar

Quit smoking
Ran a 5k
Ran a 10k
Learned French
Read 22 novels
Received 18 cards and letters from friends
Posted 242 blogs
Went to GAA, hurling and football matches
Saw the Baltic, Nordic, Adriatic, Med, Atlantic, Irish Sea
The Seine, Rhone, Liffey, Thames, Tiber

And it's only going to get better. :) Here's to another great year.
