Yay Paris this weekend!
But moh, I'm missing the Portlaoise Fleadh.
A fleadh [fla], is an Irish music festival. People come from all over to sing, party and dance to Irish music. Musicians come from everywhere. The town becomes a pulsing electric core of Irish music--fiddles, pipes, accordians, tin whistles, bodhrans (drums), spoons--yeah, spoons, and tons of singing as well. You wake up, eat a fry, drink, listen to music, meet friends, drink, go to a chip van and get fish and chips, drink, listen to music, meet more friends, go back to the chip van, drink, fall into bed. It's SO MUCH FUN! And the Portlaoise [port leash] fleadh is supposed to be the best one!

Woe. Woe is me. I'll just have to console myself with le Louvre, le Tour Eiffel, Le Musee d'Orsay, Le Chateau Versailles... ;)
