You guys, legitimately some e-cards has some really funny new cards up lately. You should really check it out if you have a few mins.
Have you seen this new slam blog set up by the GOP? It's barackbook.com, about the lamest site on the interweb. They've made a website to look like facebook, then added in all these links to anti-Obama propaganda. They're slandering a guy who has insisted in raising himself above slander. In other words, they've intentionally taken the low road. Unbelievable.
The other thing that galls me about this site is the profound irony of endorsing a 71-year old candidate by bastardizing facebook, a site with an overwhelmingly young user base. It underscores how freaking OLD McCain is. Can't they see that? Also, why not make a fake twitter or xobni or blogger, why a site that's just just passing hip and entering into passe? Oh GOP, you old staunch lawyery bastard of a political party, you couldn't be hip if you tried.
Anyway! Here, have a little vocab for today. These are some words that are really getting my goat:
execrable: odious
evince: demonstrate
insensate: stupid, inanimate, naive
Those keep stumping me on my quiz. You see if you can memorize them and then quiz me on them sometimes.
So congratulations to Sarah Barr and Boo Jane Tomkie who both lasted out their first ever earthquake yesterday! Sarah Barr reports that an earthquake feels like, "Something running around her room, something big", while Boo Jane PREDICTED the quake by meowing and meowing 10 mins before the first shock wave hit. My little fluffy seismologist!
