LOL
Office gossip for you:
The boss is a jerk. Bigtime. And unfortch, he's the CEO, so everyone gets the brunt of his jerkiness. The planning team just got a doozie this morning:
Following their weekly meeting, they all got an email from HR saying, "The CEO requests that you push in your chairs when you're done with the meeting room." He had gone to her and asked her to write an email about chairs!!! Does this guy have nothing better to do? Also, who calls themself "The CEO" at a company of 50 people?? We know who you are, weirdo.
So it's another day of bs around the office, looks like. The good news is that it's Wednesday, and payday, AND I'm going out with a bunch of people for a going away party tonight. We're going to the very faaaancy Italian place named--I'm not joking--Little Ceasar's. Yeah. Should be fun though--I can't wait!
Have a good day. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Is your boss a jerk? If he is, could you please send me a lil note telling me a story, because it'd be nice to know that other people have bosses as unreal as mine.
On another note, the Dublin Book Club wrapped up discussion of "The Sea" last night and decided on our next book: "The Year of Living Biblically" by AJ Jacobs. It's the story of a guy following the bible word for word for a year--I think it will be fun, funny, knowledgable and uplifting. The other book I'm reading with a few people this month (join me if you're interested) is "March" by Geraldine Brooks, a book telling the story of John March (father of the Little Women girls) going off to war. I think it will be very interesting and I loved Little Women so much, I'm curious to see what a great writer can do with this spinoff.
So that's about it around here. Happy Wednesday!

Sorry to hear about your CEO. I've read Living Biblically. I liked it a lot. It's a great snapshot at religion in America.
