So in the malaise of the rain, I'm tucking in indoors and enjoying some online shopping, fun websites and other indoor diversions to pass the time. Check out what I've been watching:

Sponsored by the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC, The Livingroom Candidate is an archive of campaign material dating back to 1952. It's cool to see how Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Regan and more branded themselves in the early stages of TV and Radio campaign ads.
2. LiveScribe Pulse Smartpen
For notetakers, this is boss. A pen that records audio and remembers where it correlates to in your notes, so if you tap on a point in your notes, the pen will play back the audio that went along with it. Great for class--you'd never miss a thing! I think this is a fantastic product for college students in competitive classes. Watch the video on amazon (link above) and see how this thing works.
