Hiya Tuesday!

Tuesday is officially back to reality! I'm finally out of my Italy haze and realizing that leaving Italy for Ireland is not necessarily the worst thing to have befallen me. :)

I've finished editing my pictures from the trip and as per usual they're posted here:

Now, tonight I'm headed to see the premiere play of the Dublin Theatre Festival, "The Year of Magical Thinking" with Vanessa Redgrave at the Gaitey Theatre. The play has been sold out for months and is THE event of the month! And, since my friend Claire works at the Gaitey and rooocks, we have first balcony center seats, aka best in the house. Oh! So exciting! Tonight I'm off to dinner and the THE-AH-TAH!

Thursday I'll see the play Hedda Gabler with my friend Tessa as well. I feel very fortunate, very lucky and very cultured this month. I've been to Donegal and Italy, been part of two book discussions, visited all the major Dublin cathedrals and galleries, seen the Office of the Orichetas and now I'm headed into 3 weeks of plays, musicals, concerts and operas.

Sometimes it's so, so hard to be away, but occasionally opportunities come along for you to see what you've been sacrificing for. I'm a happy camper today. :)
