And by the way, Picasa Drop Box is a great way to gather up photos. Just add one in your Picasa settings tab. Very easy, very awesome, very google. :)
Highlights from the photos include the video of my mom's dog Maggie in her puffy vest, pictures of Evan's law school, the shot of Kaitlyn's back seat of bags after our regular shopping extravaganza, and some good ones of our Polish Christmas dinner. Give em a looksie when you get a chance.
So last night I went out with fellow Michigander Claire who I met over here in Ireland. Her brother Pat and bff Molly came along, and we were met by two more Michigan friends too. All told there were 6 of us Mitten-state folk all down at the Bull & Castle for a pint! It was crazy, I haven't been around that many Americans the entire time I've been here--that's not an exagerration. It was fun to be around Michigan folk and catch up on Amurrica and stuff, but I have to admit I wouldn't want to make it too regular an occurence. You know, you move overseas to try and change up your experience a little. But still we had a great time and it was a lot of fun.
Thursday I'm going to my friend Erin's Silent Disco. Maybe you've heard about Silent Raves/Discos/Dance Parties going on in London and the US. The basic premise is that on a set day and time folks gather at a public spot with their ipods and headphones in tow. When the leader stands up and waves "go", everyone turns on their ipods and gets to rocking out to their music. Everyone dances to their own beat, shaking it alone or sometimes dancing with someone else even if you don't know what they're listening to. They say Silent Raves are more social than you think, not to mention really cathartic and a pretty good workout. And come on, who doens't want to dance off the stress after a long week back to work? Since I've heard so much about these, I can't wait to see what it's all about.
