Corktown! Day 19

ST. PATRICKS MONTH HAS BEGUN!

Today was the Corktown race and parade. I headed downtown aorund 12 for the festivities with Evan's OG's. It was fun, but....well, Corktown doesn't really know how to throw a parade. It was about 5 marching bands and some folks walking in funny hats, and they were all spaced out by about 5 mins between each other. But the beer and corned beef sandwiches were great, and the weather was amazing, so in the end it was an awesome day.

Also, we topped it off with a #4 from white castle with everything (that's 20 burgers + 4 fries). It was great. I use the past tense because I'm now several hours out from the meal and....well, "was" fits a LOT better than "is"!

I'm having a hard time thinking of fun solo things to do this week and I need a little help. PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR IDEAS! I've got a "regular" drink at the Caribou coffee by my house now....it's fine, I just need to expand.

Okay, I've sprung ahead and have to get headed to bed for a restless, horrible night's sleep, followed by a crack-of-dawn wakeup. Boo to daylight savings.Happy St. Pats month!
