I'm Back!
and better than ever.
So for the weekend I went down to County Kerry---or what I like to call County Me---for a few days. I took what would end up being the most terrifying car ride of my life around the ring of Kerry. Kerry is all one-lane roads around cliffs and mountains and with giant trucks and busses trying to run you off the road.
To make matters worse, the rain was coming down in lashes and the fog was so thick you couldn't see the car in front of you--or the turn taking you off a cliff, for that matter. I thought when I looked in the mirror my hair would be white.
But bar the weather, it was fun. My friend Fiona and I had a great time staying one night in a 4-star hotel in Killarney, and another night in a B&B in Adare. We came back up to Dublin and threw a Halloween party at Fiona's place in Malahide.
Pictures to follow this week, when I can grapple them out of Fiona's hands.
And now I'm back at work...booooo, and Halloween is tomorrow....yaaaaay! Do you like the spooooky site? I spookified it for you. You're welcome. :)
Good luck to all my busy readers, including busy Cookie Dough runners, busy Civil Procedure studiers, busy Nov 11 wedding planners, et al!
