After what seems like a longer flight each time I do it, I'm back in Ireland. The wind is howling, the air is mild, and the sky is cloudy, and those are my key indicators that yes, we did in fact land on the right island.
Major events on the flight included surviving some weather delays and almost missing my Chicago-Dublin flight, sleeping soundly for a few solid hours [no minor feat], sitting in the middle row [boo], watching a gorgeous sunrise over the Atlantic, and meeting up unexpectedly with Kit, a girl I befriended on the plane ride to the States a few weeks ago, which was really cool.
I'm already plenty homesick, but I'll muster some excitement and say it's good to be back! I finally get to find a NEW HOME and get outta my den of iniquity! I get to start planning my TRIP TO ROME at the end of January! And there are lots more fun trips planned with fun people this year, too!
