Little This, Little That, Little Fatty Fatty Cat

A horrifically bad Monday turned great by a few end of day treats.

I'm telling ya: in this life, spoiling yourself is the only way to go.

Got home at 7 last night (gross) and was dying for a treat, so I dragged Stephen out to this swanky little brasserie around the corner called Sixty6. We got the big roasted dinner and these gorgeous salads and I treated myself to a cosmopolitain. I walked home so satisfied and feeling so much better!

So then we jumped into a little Wii action for a minute, played a round of golf, then I cozied up in bed to finish:

The book club book this month. An OUTSTANDING read. This guy is the real deal. I can't wait to discuss it tonight with my book club.

Now this morning work is the same ol' soul-sucking nightmare, a daytime incubus, baring down on my chest and unshackling me from my mortal coil. Picture me at the coffee machine, bleakly gazing down at the percolating brown of it while chaos rains down around me. This is what we're talking about. Me in the bathroom, washing my hands twice to give myself an extra minute out of the fray. LOL, it's been tough lately! But the good news is that it'll get better soon once these bids are out and then I get to go home and then I come back and plan my next trip and hey, none of that is bad at all!

So my last treat that lifted my mood was the amazing real-life video footage of the wild Boo, as videotaped in her natural habitat in San Diego by the Hernandez family. Note how she moves from space to space, dexterously hunting the indigenous faunae. Behond Boo as seen from the eyes of the stunned and amazed onlookers; it must have been a personal safari experience the Hernandezes will not soon forget. In one video you can hear an adventure soundtrack playing in the background while Boo leaps in the air at moths. It's basically amazing. I love it more than anything.

SO enjoy that (thank you SO MUCH Shmo!), and enjoy Tuesday!
