Boo to Paris Hilton for wiggling out of her 45 day sentance into a 23-day one. Why are we cutting her slack again?
What's up with the guy in TX microwaving his baby? Sarah, as my offsite Texas expert, I'll defer to you for an explanation.
Also, there is a guy from Liverpool in my office. I don't know if you know anyone from Liverpool, but it is an accent unto its own--it's like the heaviest Scottish brogue meets the thickest backwoods Irish, then they have their own "scowser" slang too. It's a nightmare! I have to give Evan's dad, a Liverpool native, huge props for being entirely comprehensible, which is obviously not the norm!

Weekend Plans

Friday Night
Cinema with Raisinettes and a Guinness. I think I’ll see Zodiac, then go home and sleep with my eyes open.

Saturday
AM: Farmers Market in the morning for fresh some grocery shopping (I’m counting on the Cheese Lady being there with her fresh goat’s cheese). Banana/Nutella crepe for breakfast at the café by the river.
PM: Out to Howth for a hike along the coast and fish and chips from the chippie in the harbor. They are the BEST fish and chips in Ireland—they bring in the cod from right there in the sea all day long and fry them up. Salt….vinegar….dreams come true tomorrow afternoon.
Night: Out on the town with flatmate Fiona and Scottish friends. I’m planning on trying the new Guinness, which is called Guinness midnight or something. I think all it is is a mid-strength, like a very pale stout. But I won’t know for sure until I try it now, will I?

Sunday
Retail therapy downtown at H&M, Penny’s and Dunnes. Yeah!

Everyone be sure to wish Kaitlyn HAPPY 23rd BIRTHDAY today—I hope she has a great time at dinner and karaoke tonight.
